About Kelly

People need people, and as human beings we are called to care for and nurture each other. Having endured painful experiences in my own life, I have a genuine heart to empathize and a strong desire to help others navigate through challenging times of their own.  I believe we all share a common goal to be understood, to be accepted and to be treated like we matter.

I create an open space to talk about difficult things, like pain and heartache. I listen, feel your pain and we work together to find peace and clarity. Through mindfulness, self-compassion and meaningful conversations, I help you to dig deep and find your strength, remind you of what's already there.

I earned my master's degree in marriage, family, and child therapy and I am experienced in assisting clients dealing with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, marital and parenting conflicts, stage of life issues, and loss and trauma.

Married for 33 years, my husband and I are blessed with two grown daughters, a son-in-law and a new baby granddaughter. I am a Christian and believe people are not meant to do life alone. We are each a work in progress and can benefit from the support and encouragement of others. I feel it is a privilege to walk alongside people, guiding and encouraging them on their own journey.

God comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.
